Join us for a fun-filled, interactive homestead experience designed just for kids! This 4-hour on-farm class gives children ages 5–10 a chance to roll up their sleeves and connect with life on the homestead. Kids will get to:

Help with real animal chores including feeding the animals, collecting eggs and learn how we care for our animals every day. See where our food comes from, how we preserve it and of course taste test some goodies (Healthy snacks provided).

This is the perfect class for curious kids who love nature, animals, and getting a little dirty while they learn. Come explore, learn, and play on the farm!

They’ll leave with real-life skills, confidence, and a new appreciation for sustainable living! Parents must be in attendance and stay for the full length of the class. The kids will need to wear close-toed shoes and clothes they can get dirty in.

Made me feel more confident in canning and preserving

I haven't canned or preserved foods in many years. I had some spoilage issues and decided not to can again. Now I've gained back my confidence to can. It's a good thing to do for camping trips.

So much fun!!!

Jordon was so informative and friendly. She made the workshop a lot of fun. I had some knowledge of canning going into it but it was great to expand on what I know already and will help me fine tune things going forward. It’s also great to see someone hosting these types of events in our little communities.
